Hays Legal and the Leeds JLD are pleased to invite junior lawyers to the 2012 NQ Careers Talk at 6pm on Thursday 1st March at The Living Room on Greek Street.

You will learn about the current state of the market, what's hot and what's not, CV and interview tips plus lot more information invaluable to a second year trainee (whether you are looking to remain at your current firm or not).

James Haddleton of DWF will also be presenting, giving an insight into what he looks for when interviewing junior lawyers.

Leeds Occasionals Men's Cricket Team

The Leeds Occasionals is a social cricket team open to all members of the JLD. The Leeds Occasionals play all year round; on a Tuesday night in winter (indoors at Headingley stadium) and a Thursday night in summer (outdoors at Thorner Cricket Club). JLD Squash League

The JLD Squash league is now underway and, at present, we have three divisions.

We welcome any new players who would like to join the league next season and so please do get in touch if you are interested. We have a beginner / intermediate division for the novices amongst you and two intermediate divisions for the more advanced players. The cost to join the league is only £5 and during any season games are played once a week with rest / catch up weeks scheduled.

Leeds JLD Charity of the Year

This year, Leeds JLD will be supporting Candlelighters as its chosen charity. Throughout the year we will be raising money to help the charity continue to carry out its valuable work, providing support to children with cancer and their families in Yorkshire.
