The national JLD (a division of the Law Society) holds three national committee meetings a year at the Law Society in London, at which issues affecting junior lawyers are discussed. The national committee consists of the JLD executive and representatives of the local JLD group network of which I am the Leeds National Representative.
The purpose of the national committee is to provide:
– a forum for issues affecting junior lawyers to be discussed and policy positions to be settled and actioned accordingly; and
– an opportunity for the JLD committee to obtain feedback from the local JLD group network on issues affecting junior lawyers at a local level.
I would therefore encourage and welcome your views, along with any questions or issues you would like to be raised on your behalf and discussed at a national level.
