Last week, the Leeds JLD (finally) held their first in-person event of the year – Meet the Committee!
Given the new additions to the Committee, we held an informal drinks and networking session to introduce ourselves and say hello to lots of our members, both old and new.
The event was held outside at The Good Luck Club in Leeds new business district and guests were greeted with a prosecco reception in the sunshine. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, spaces for the event were limited to 20, which included both members and non-members from firms across Leeds and West Yorkshire. The limited tickets provided the perfect opportunity to ensure everyone got the chance to meet each other, socialise and build connections over a few drinks in a great outdoor setting.
It was great to be able to meet in person and have face-to-face conversations at long last after a year of virtual networking and events.
We have lots of exciting events coming up this year, including our Summer BBQ on 12 August 2021 – save the date!
Make sure you’re signed up to our mailing list and following all our social media channels to keep up to date with our events and to ensure you don’t miss out as the tickets for our first event sold out extremely quickly and we’re expecting the Summer BBQ to be extremely popular also.
